JOHN WAYNE FILM SOCIETY CONVENTIONS

Our conventions are held in a purpose-built Cinema with very comfortable seating for almost 180 people.

Each Convention consists of two feature films, one in the morning & one in the afternoon, together with refreshments, there is always a good supply of John Wayne Memorabilia available at the interval and before the First Film is shown-including

• · RECORDS
• · POSTCARDS etc.

We are also looking at having special guests at our future conventions.
At our summer 2000 convention we were privileged to have an audience with                        Karolyn Grimes who co-starred with John Wayne in Rio Grande, and who is perhaps best remembered for playing James Stewart’s daughter Zuzu in the Classic Hollywood Film ‘IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE’..
We are also having original screen worn costumes on display.

The Venue is a Great Facility with Free Car Parking, and has just opened a State of the Art Canteen and Refreshment Facility which we use during our Conventions to host our Catering Facilities and to showcase the JOHN WAYNE MEMORABILIA.
